Pauline Coune began her career as a lawyer in the Maghreb department of Adamas (now Adaltys). In 2018, she joined Alexander & Partner in Berlin (Germany) as Counsel, where she assists international clients with projects in Africa and German companies with their business in France. Since 2023, she is also part of LEXT.
Over the years, Pauline has gained expertise in the infrastructure sector (renewable energy, heavy industry, green hydrogen, water, ports), agri-food (processing units), events and aircraft maintenance (Part-145) in North Africa and the OHADA area. Her fields of competence include commercial law (contract drafting and negotiation, due diligence, pre-litigation, litigation/arbitration), assistance to tender processes (analysis of procurement rules, assistance during the tender process and contract negotiation) and project development (securing land, investment law and exchange control law, sectoral law, permitting, public business law, corporate law, environmental law, contract drafting and negotiation).
Pauline is fluent in English, German and Spanish and among her publications she contributed to the World Bank report "Enabling the business of agriculture" en 2017.
